I decided to try Reiki because I read about Chakras and I thought I could use some healing. I had no idea whether or not it would help me at all, but I figured I may as well try. I found Jessica here on Yelp. After the first session I felt a bit calmer and I was sleeping better, so I went back. I asked her to try to get me some relief from tendonitis in my hip and I actually do feel better. Furthermore, my blood pressure, which has inched up in recent months, started heading in the right direction. Can I scientifically demonstrate that these benefits are from Reiki? Beyond my expectations!

I don't know where to begin but I want to mention beforehand that I am not only shocked, but healed thanks to Jessica. I went to her after googling reiki healers in the city. I had made an appt to see her within a week but after taking a day off from work, I called to see if she had any openings, and she did. I saw her that same day, I was not nervous at all, I had felt from her website that she was the real deal. I got to the center a bit earlier than my appt time so I sat next to the entrance. When Jessica came in, she said hello and gazed right into my eyes, and I truly felt her genuine and peaceful energy.

I wont go into the entire session because I am still basking in that amazing time I spent with her but I could not believe how fast and well she cleared my energy (I had such a cloudy and negative mind for weeks and needed resolution). She uses a combination of oils and crystals and her own healing powers. I literally felt lighter and lighter as we kept on during our session. It was truly such a magical experience! I LOVED it from start to finish. It's been a few days now and I continue to feel light and optimistic. I won't even try to pretend I understand how she does it. (I don't) But I sure as hell am glad I found Jessica on Yelp.

I had my second session tonight. I was a bit surprised how different it was than my first. Both equally good, but let's just say - scheduling that second session was probably the best decision I've made in a long time.

First of all, Jessica begins each session in her office with a conversation. She'll talk to you about what led you to book an appointment with her, how you're doing between sessions, what's been bothering you, etc. and then come up with a plan of action for what to focus her (amazing) healing powers on during that session. With me, the first session (which was my first reiki session ever of any kind), it was like she just "knew" things about my past that there's no way she could have known. She's definitely intuitive as well, which is pretty freaking awesome - something I did not expect. It felt like she understood my pain on every level, and could relate to me and what I was going through, which made me feel at ease with her, before she even touched me. Talking to Jessica comes natural, in a way that sort of makes me feel like we go way back (even though we don't) - like I can tell her my deepest, darkest secrets, feelings and fears, knowing she won't judge me, but instead will lift me up, saying "okay, this is how we're going to fix this."

My first session a few weeks ago was intense, in a good way. My whole body felt like it was on fire; like I was burning up. I literally felt things being "pulled" out of me, which is what she said she was doing... pulling out negative thoughts and feelings, and cutting the cord between me and past men in my life. Little did I know that was only the foundation for the "real work" to come. Jessica has magical hands. I don't know how, but she does. I could feel so many things that first session. She really worked with me on ridding my head and heart of many past loves, and heartbreak. Afterwards I felt lighter, and less anxious. So incredible. Jessica stayed with me for a few minutes after my session and texted me some books I should be reading, and made sure I was feeling okay. So sweet.

Then tonight... wow, what an entirely different experience. I don't think I've ever felt more relaxed, than I did while on her table between the hours of 5:30pm and 6:30pm tonight. Yet again, she worked her magic on me. I felt lighter. I felt calm. I was so relaxed and in a complete state of meditation, that I literally saw images of men from my past pop up and voices telling me to say "bye," followed by their name. I mean, talk about liberating. Wow. At one point, I actually felt like I was floating. At another point, I got this vision of me on a river, in a kayak, just laying down on top of it, while letting the water do its thing. No paddling, no trying to be in control. Just letting the river (metaphor for universe?) do what it was supposed to. This is actually a memory I have from the past few years, when I've traveled. It's something I've actually done before, and is super relaxing to me. But, I hadn't even thought about this in forever, and all of a sudden, it was like I was having this amazing, semi-out-of-body experience watching myself float down this river. Tonight I also cried while Jess was working on healing me. I wasn't expecting to, it just happened, but wow, that's such a testament to how amazing she is. It's like my soul was on display and Jessica knew just what to do and say.

After my session tonight, again, Jessica waited a little longer - even though she had a client right after me, she knew I was anxious about some things and stayed to make sure I was alright. That was a huge blessing to me in ways I can't even begin to describe here. She even texted me to follow up and ask if I'm okay.

My experience has been that Jessica is kind, sweet, talented, funny, compassionate, understanding, experienced, and legit the real deal. She's amazing. I cannot wait for my next session. Go see her, I'm positive you won't regret it. :)

There are a number of 5 star rated Reiki Healers on here but, thankfully, I chose Jessica. She does use Reiki in her practice but, she uses many other healing modalities as well. She is a true Healer, and is nothing short of extraordinary. I am highly somatic so I carry my emotional pain in my body and need help releasing this pain, which is what Jessica is gifted at doing. I started to see Jessica about 9 months ago when I was newly diagnosed with a mental illness. I have always preferred to take care of myself as natural as possible and the thought of having to go on medication scared me. Let me begin by saying that my session with Jessica was my first energy healing session of any kind. I have had massages, chiropractic and osteopathic manual manipulation before, but I was a bit skeptical (but also curious and open minded) about the energy healing. I was blown away by the healing. Jessica is gifted and patient. First she connected with me and evaluated the energy in my chakras. She chose crystals to open up my blocked chakras. It felt so good that I actually fell asleep. I had one of the biggest, most epic breakthroughs in my healing of my previous marriage 'stuff' in my second session with Jessica.
The session itself was wonderful -- she is just the sweetest and so easy to talk to, and (being pretty sensitive to energy work) I could feel her work on various chakras and parts of my body all the way on the west coast. But it was AFTER, when her work and clearing really took effect, that I had the most incredible experience.
Far too long a story to post here, I'll simply say that something that had haunted me for 8 years finally shifted. It up-leveled. It healed. And I woke up the next morning feeling SO HIGH on life, so joyful, so light.
